A UX That’s Smart, But Never Intimidating

Our design direction was rooted in approachability. Since the platform revolves around AI and bots, we built a visual system that’s clean, symbolic, and slightly playful—without tipping into childish territory.

Key UX choices included:

  • A muted, modern color palette with splashes of energetic hues

  • Rounded elements and playful micro-interactions

  • Soft iconography and mascots that personified the "buddy" aspect

  • Smart UI sections for bot chats, performance dashboards, and subject navigation

Making Data Work for the Learner

The AI engine behind Steady Buddy provides deep learning analytics based on student behavior and knowledge gaps. Our job was to translate those insights into screens that actually helped students grow.

We designed:

  • Pattern recognition modules

  • Visual progress bars tied to real academic skills

  • Nudges and encouragement cards based on learning style

  • Adaptive content delivery flows that never felt overwhelming
